A Talk with Club G.M.
Mr. Mark Lee first graduated from a military
academy, specializing in international relations. He went on to
study at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Chinese and
American Studies. In 1999, Mark has got an MBA degree from City
University in Seattle, USA. He has gained a unique, first – handed
understanding of the clash and synthesis of Oriental and Occidental
cultures, which has been instrumental in shaping his distinctive
worldview and way of thinking.
Mark has got a good
reputation in private club industry in Beijing. In 1994, he
participated in the establishment of Beijing Royal International
Club and became the General Manager of this club two years later.
The club has been regarded as the first membership club in Beijing.
He then joined a world recognized club management company –
Sportathlon China Ltd. He was appointed as the General Manager of
Beijing Ritan International Club and has been working as a senior
consultant for several private clubs in Beijing. In February 2002,
he becomes the General Manager of Beijing Dragon Club.
Mark especially
stresses the importance of relations between the club management and
club members, saying, “The members are our boss. The club’s
existence and development are completely dependent on the support of
its members. Every staff’s action should embody the club’s
commitment to TOTAL QUALITY SERVICE.”
Mark would like to
take this opportunity to express his gratitude to all club members
for their kindness and support to him during his work here in the
past few years. He adds optimistically that Beijing Dragon Club will
surely be developed into one of the most exclusive country clubs in
Mainland China under the hard work of the current Club Management.
